My friend is an instructor in NPCC (I remember there was a term for it but I forgot liao)

So those in NPCC last time huan will remember got camp at pulau ubin, so my friend being the instructor, went back to help.

NPCC has their own campsite at pulau ubin, so it was assumed to be much more "cleaner". However, this was the part.

My friend and his other friends were sitting at the steps on the foyer, which was facing the big field, with a flag pole at the other end. (Those go before would know)

Suddenly my friend saw someone over at the flag pole waving to him. My friend told his other friends that he wanted to go sleep, so they left. The next day, all of them discussed about it and they actually saw the same thing.

Another happening was the second night, when my friend was walking pass the medic room, he heard some weird music and someone singing. Being a musically inclined person, he found that the tune was weird, and not like normal music. He just walked it off, and really hope for the best.

Writing this still makes me feel uncomfortable. When he told me, I thought to myself, thank god I'm never going back to that place ever again.

Communicating through the universal channel doesn't prevent elements of their personality from showing, I feel, as in it doesn't prevent the recipients of their communiques from picking up a 'vibe' of what they're like.

I'll use the Tua Li Ya Pek statues currently enshrined in my Australian residence as an example.

The Tua Ya Pek who consecrated them is from the Fourth Court of Hell and the patron of my teacher's successor, Puay.

He has a gruff, matter-of-fact personality, evident when Puay channels him.

Although he never explicitly said so, I initially assumed that it was the essence of him and his younger brother that would inhabit the statues.

However, the vibes that I receive from the statues whenever I meditate in their presence or pray to them are unmistakably the mischievous, trollish vibes characteristic of my teacher's patron Tua Ya Pek, from the First Court of Hell.

I can practically feel that familiar lopsided, wicked grin, if that makes any sense.

When I asked for clarification, Puay's Tua Ya Pek repeated what my teacher's Tua Ya Pek once said about different Tua Li Ya Pek from different Courts of Hell: "我是他, 他是你, 我是你. 我们都是一起."

The implication here is that any of them can use the statues as a conduit, due to them all being connected, hive-mind style.

But individual traits still bleed through, if you know what I'm saying.

Understand totally, there's a hermetic theory I came across which attempts to explain "character traits" in deities. Starting from the hermetic belief that "All is the mind and the mind is All", we are all extensions of the supreme being.

However, just like a finger cannot fully understand the whole body, we can't fully understand the supreme bring. As such, the easiest way for the finger to understand the rest of the body, is through the palm.

Hence, each part of the body seem to have a different view of that the whole body is, all wrong and all right at the same time.
