Hmm.. I seeing signs of Admin control emerging from this refuge

This isn't an easy post...

but when the Admin started merging all the threads about EDMH SPH bitching, I get the de ja vu that we are being bossed around again...

Signs of controlling emerging under the 'Admin' nick....

I can understand the need to tidy up the forum.

However, take note of the nuance of the message - an Admin asking us to stop bitching and then proceeding to merge all threads together.

Admins are starting to TELL us what to do - and also doing it from their perspective.

Soon they will say they are doing it out of free and stop complaining....

I'm trying very hard to walk a thin line between tidying the forum up and censoring. Thousands of similar threads just now.. I have only merged threads and banned IBs so far, I have no intention ever of destroying this community.

To be honest, I am happy to hand over the reins of the forum to anyone who can manage it well into an uncensored EDMW we all hoping for. If you guys don't think the current team is doing a good job... please let us know. Serious.

Control within reason is ok la

people were pissed first and foremost because other there the Mod OTOT suka suka carry on with little rhyme or reason and even threw in insults together with their infractions. All while hiding behind HWZ admin

some amount of control is fine to ensure the forum runs smoothly. the problem in the other edmw was that rules were enforced inconsistently and the mods got too cocky.

i dont think tis is a free for all forum.

Merged nothing wrong lar...but maybe when you close/lock threads...at least tell us the reason lar...else we wouldnt know that the thread was closed for merging what

Merging is goot. If too many duplicate threads, it'll be hard to find all related posts.

Some admin rules are needed otherwise there will be losers purposely sabotage the forum.
