actually, i hope the Admin (or if i am tasked to employ an external web developer to do up a proper and secure and mobile-friendly forum) can make it a user-run forum..

what this means is:

1) have sufficient adverts to bring about self-sufficiency in paying off hosting bills

2) operating outside SG legal grasp, in line with SBF's way of protecting their forumers

3) forumers get to zap and ban (with sufficient votes) spammers or rubbish posters. mods should step in only in exceptional circumstances. none of the crazy things EDMW now faces.

this also means, users are mini mods themselves. mods do not have to actively patrol to ban siaolangs. users themselves can ban liao (with sufficient votes, of cos).

think need rebrand, but retain the edmw identity. like edmw-u (uncensored), or edmw-f (free), or edmw-uc (unchained).

also dun like mob rule. mob rule can be dangerous, risk become one-sided.
