Migrated from SPH EDMW and my thoughts

I was first intro to the HWZ forum, in particular EDMW, by my peers during internship in 2003.
Initially, it was a place to read about funny stuffs people post when we got bored at work.
I still remember we keep replaying the CD-PRO2 spoofs of Infernal Affairs which we got to know from EDWM.

There are many useful information posted by other users and I learned a lot from there.
It had also became a reliable source of news. I first got to know about the collapse of Nicoll Highway incident through EDMW; minutes before the news flash on TV.

Unfortunately, I feel that the forum has degraded over the years and especially more so after it was bought over by SPH.
I started to notice there were a lot more advertisements cluttering the website.
Slow loading and sometimes, crashing my browser.
Unsolicited PM from HWZ marketing which I cannot choose to unsubscribe.
Getting infraction points for not merging my sales threads even though each thread was for very different category of item.
Being used as a platform for political propaganda by IBs.

Even though I seldom post in HWZ forum having a post count of only 441 till date, I visit EDMW almost on a daily basis; never mind half the threads are bo liao stuffs.
But with the recent events, I guess it is finally time to look elsewhere after a good 13 years.
I know I will not be able to forsake that forum completely. It is still a treasure trove of information such as the Travel, NS Knowledge base, Makan, Other Academic sub forums, etc.
I also do not know if this can be the next successful EDMW.
What I do know is a forum that respects it's users will surely earn my allegiance.

Same as you TS. I don't post often and I know I can get my news here. Before the ge. I l saw many many post got delete like ello, claiming it is a fish village by a old man and it fucker that he build everything, video to proof it was wrong. All those got delete.

I am already 38 year old, and have been jobless since year 2004.

I am unsure if you are aware of my existence since year 2004 in EDMW.

I was banned by the Admin which I suspected it could be flapdoodle and the Vijay.(I do not think Vijay is a doctor)
