Ah tong and Famiily beat up police

A policeman attempting to tow an illegally parked BMW that had not undergone its annual vehicle inspection was attacked in the street by its owner and his family.
According to NetEase, the incident took place at around 11 a.m. on December 22 in the Jinniu district of Chengdu. Police on patrol that morning noticed a BMW parked illegally on Zao Zi lane and ordered the driver, named He Tao, to move his car. While at first unwilling to leave, He eventually left the area.



Only a few minutes later, police discovered that He had returned and parked in the same spot that he had just been told to vacate. After having it explained to him that cars were not allowed to park in the lane, He drove off in his BMW. Police believed this to be the end of the matter.




After a few more minutes had passed, He once again returned to the lane and parked his BMW. Policemen confronted He over his actions, to which he replied in a frustrated tone, "Do you want me to take my clothes off as well?"
Police brought out their PDA and discovered that the offending BMW was overdue for its mandatory vehicle inspection. As He was also unwilling to produce his driving licence, police arranged for the car to be towed and asked that He bring his credentials to the local police station to resolve the matter.



Upon hearing that the situation was going to escalate, three men emerged from a nearby Chinese Medicine shop, including He's father. They and other of He's associates stood around the car and shouted, "The police are attacking people." A large crowd soon gathered.
The crowd then attacked the police officers, restraining them so as to prevent them from leaving the area. Another woman emerged from the Chinese Medicine shop and slapped one of the officers in the face.

The situation was eventually brought under control after more police officers arrived. He Tao and his father were taken into custody, A few days later on December 26, the woman who struck the police officer was also arrested. He Tao and his father have since been sentenced to 7 days in jail as punishment for their actions.
