New Zealand Working Holiday
Someone posted on Facebook and it seemed interested. Moi been in thought about this for the past 2 days.....
http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/stream/work/workingholiday/singaporeworkexchangeprogramme.htm
It seems tempting to work and holiday for a duration of 3 to 6 months. I'm currently 27, well 28 tomorrow considering it's 2016 upcoming. To forsake a gross $3.5k monthly job for this temporary sabbatical, is it considered silly or reasonable? Financial commitment wise, not married and no kids and HDB will not be knocking on my doors till my bidadari application is accepted.
To be eligible
You must:
be a citizen of Singapore and have a passport from Singapore that is valid for at least three months after your planned departure from New Zealand
be at least 18 and not more than 30 years old
not bring children with you
hold a return ticket or sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket*
have a minimum of NZ$2,250 available funds to meet your living costs while you’re here
meet our health and character requirements
hold medical and comprehensive hospitalisation insurance for the length of your stay
be coming to New Zealand to holiday, with work or study being secondary intentions for your visit
not have been approved a visa under a working holiday scheme before.
What do you guys think? Anyone go for such working holiday overseas before?
