Not those common one
OCD is medical condition leh. anyhow say something is OCD is insult to the real OCD sufferers.
ok at 1st i tot pure-o is another junk-science type of diagnosis, since OCDs muz come with compulsions then can consider. then i read up then appreciated what primarily obsessional OCD is. the compulsions are just not outwardly obvious, but done in the mind. plus its very very common for ppl to overdiagnose themselves for watever reasons when it's not really a problem
so TS i apologise to u. wat are your compulsions like and u got see doc for ur condition?

Yess I seem doc, and have on going medication
as far as my doc say, they is no way of having completely free or pure O OCD, but we can to deal with it, and learn to ignore the question
some of my question, e.g.
why vision look grainy when I focus on a blank and plain surfaces for a long period of time
anyone know why?
the vision will become fuzzy and grainy, like camera noise like that
only when i focus, more obvious at night
Is it normal?
I keep asking is it normal and common...

ok i try help. this one can ans quite easily, i try to explain as simple as i can, but with risk of oversimplifying. here goes.
When our eyes see the world, it's not like video camera like that everything real time. How it works is actually the eyes taking snap shots of the surroundings, and all the pictures saved into your brain (think your brain like computer like tat). Then with the pictures the brain construct a full 3D reality model of the entire surroundings, like Virtual Reality inside your brain, for all your other brain functions to work with. What you "see" is actually just what your brain builds inside your head.
Every time your eyes move, new pictures are taken, and your 3D model is updated. So when you stare into a space too long, no updates coming in for the other parts, they become "grainy" to you.
This is an oversimplification. For more information, can look up "vision and perception" and slowly work your way.
Actually TS, your obsession with questions can be turned into a good thing. Keep asking good questions, keep pursuing knowledge. Even when you stumble on rubbish questions, find out why such questions are rubbish. The pursuit of knowledge and the joy of learning, plus show off a bit to your friends can be really song, can ease your discomfort a lot and turn it into a really good thing. Just need to ask the right questions (usually science related)

Gelish manicure sort of takes care of that, but it makes my nails so brittle.

Usually OCD sufferers are seeking reassurance and usually not satisfy with the answer given
like compulsion like that, nvr satisfied with the cleaniness
and very uncomfortable with uncertainity, for e.g. keep on doing research online for answers...which have no outcome, you just can't get the answer "you want".
The only way to out of it, is to acknowledge that all this is part of OCD, anxiety disorder, tell yourself, you have those thought, and the urge is only part of the illness

I know of knowledge-hungry ppl who's never ending in learning new stuffs. Their kind of OCD if you like. they amassed so much knowledge that they're seen as walking encyclopedias, well-liked and respected and this opens up opportunities for them.
So even though they may never be satisfied and can never get out of it, it can turn out to be a silver lining amidst the misery (unlike hoarders. germaphobes etc). The never-ending process remains miserable, but rewards-preceding hard work often are.
Just sharing yeah?

Re: OCD sufferers come in~
OCD is not a illness by itself, it is one of the cousin of GENERAL ANXIETY
usually it is symptom of a bigger illness, which is anxiety disorder, chinese known as 焦虑症.
It is much harder and difficult to overcome that big brother
we can overcome OCD for a short while, but if anxiety disorder is not overcome, it will always come back.
\
Hope everyone get the info
anyway if u guys got OCD recovery, please share in this post
I hope can help as many people as possible
