anyone got OCD problem

Like purely obsessive about some topic, or come with compulsion

how you all overcome and deal with OCD?

want to bring this thread from SPH edmw to here

I myself is Pure O OCD suffers

I keep asking myself those super chim question that I don't have answer
I feel so uncomfortable answering those question yet I cannot control myself

I felt the uncertain when I am not able to get the answer I wanted

I ponder on the question like how to prove the world is real, how to prove the existence of human being...etc

Have you thought about the root causes of OCD?

It all boils down to the need to find ground/security in life. To be at peace with your obsessions, you need to come to terms with the groundlessness of life.

Performing rituals (in your case the obsession with finding a definite answer), brings comfort and satisfaction. But you and I both know this effect is only temporary. The next thought comes and then you're hooked again.

So what is the 'cure'? It's hard to put it in words here. But do read up more on self-awareness and mindfulness.

My Asus Zenbook & Dell U2414H & Steelseries Silver all same colour cos I got OCD

All my pen series and highlighter series all same colour

All my T shirt is V neck from H&M

All my berms is from Cotton On

All my mountain climbing movies must be properly titled and subtitle must be srt and nothing else

I have this very huge urge to collect all 3 Seikos SRP637 SRP639 SRP641 because the come in 3s

Similarly my Flieger watch must be in a pair Type A & B

I always order and eat same dish from the stall

My table and cupboard and bag is arranged neatly in it's proper space.

All my hangers buy from same store and must be colour coded. Black for bottom, green for shirt, blue for t shirt.

My desktop only got 3 folders and no files. All must be filed nicely

My disk partition cannot have decimal place, so I spent lots of time until swee swee 80GB 80GB 60GB exactly.

All my leather wallet, card holder, belt, watch strap, socks and shoes must be black.

During NS my No.4 must be matching and tagged so that won't have 2 different shades.

and it doesn't mean I cannot do other thing to have normal life
